Border Town Properties, LLC was created in 2007 by Dave and Marcia Sorrick with the purchase of the old bank property at 609 and 611 Main, Mindenmines, MO 64769. The building conforms to ADA standards for accessibility, a rarity in small, rural auction facilities. Featuring an accessible restroom, heating, and air-conditioning, the site is comfortable for all to spend an afternoon or evening buying antiques, coins, and other items.
In March of 2008, a monthly series of Coin and Currency Auctions commenced at Border Town Auction House, a tradition that continues on the second Tuesday of every month. The Second Tuesday Coin & Currency Auction is a unique opportunity for the general public to dispose of their private holdings of coins, currency, silver, and gold. The Second Tuesday Coin & Currency Auction also allows the average citizen to sell directly to collectors, without having to first sell to a wholesaler.

In God We Trust LLC, the retail and wholesale coin and precious metals business occupying the 609 Main store is also operated by Sorrick. Though it was established in 2007, that business became active in May, 2010. The business offers a full range of services from appraisal, to outright purchase, to consignment sales. What makes In God We Trust LLC so unique is that we can tailor our services to meet the individual's needs, offering them a continuum of solutions. We are one of the few coin dealers in the area that will offer a true market appraisal of the value of a collection, then make an offer to buy based upon that disclosure of information. With over forty years of experience, we can offer a valuation that is accurate and complete, then offer a variety of options to liquidate the collection.
We invite you to join us for an event sometime soon. And, keep us in mind the next time you need an auction service or meeting room. Our rates are reasonable and our service is fantastic. Remember that old auctioneer's expression that "A fast nickel, is better than a slow quarter" and know that "We can sell for you, too!" No one pays faster and you'll have a hard time finding a friendlier bunch... put us to work for you.
